1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Vet Board ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this service.

2. Service Description

The Vet Board is a job listing platform connecting veterinary employers (clinics, hospitals, practices) with job seekers (veterinarians, vet technicians, assistants, front-desk staff). We display job postings submitted by employers and "job wanted" listings from seekers.

3. Employer Responsibilities

When posting jobs, you represent and warrant that:

• All information provided is accurate, complete, and not misleading
• You have the authority to make hiring decisions or act on behalf of the employer
• The position is legitimate and available
• You will not discriminate in violation of applicable employment laws
• You will not post duplicate, expired, or fraudulent listings

4. Job Seeker Responsibilities

When creating "job wanted" profiles or submitting applications:

• Provide truthful information about your qualifications and experience
• Do not impersonate others or create multiple accounts deceptively
• Respect employer privacy and contact preferences

5. Content Ownership

• Employers retain ownership of their job postings and may remove them at any time
• By submitting content, you grant The Vet Board a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and archive your submission
• We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post spam, scams, or fraudulent job listings
• Harvest emails or personal data from the site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to administrative functions
• Interfere with site operations or security
• Use automated bots or scrapers without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Payment Terms (When Enabled)

• Standard posting: $99 USD for 30 days
• Featured posting: $149 USD for 30 days with priority placement
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law
• Listings auto-expire after 30 days; renewal requires new payment
• We reserve the right to remove listings without refund for policy violations

8. Disclaimer

THE VET BOARD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• That you will find suitable employment or candidates
• The accuracy or legitimacy of any listing
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the site is free from viruses or harmful components

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Vet Board and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or business opportunities
• Employment disputes between users
• Any claims arising from use of the service

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access without notice for:

• Violation of these terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Non-payment
• At our sole discretion

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically for updates.
